As a business owner, I have never been able to accept “Politics as Usual”. We need a government that works for the people instead of personal interests or agendas. We need people in office who care about the important issues and how they affect our region. My personal promise to you reflects my desire to transform our area into one that prospers long term and allows for personal growth and the realization of our “American Dream”. Ö Run Government more like a business, cutting waste and overspending of OUR money Ö Reevaluate the tax structure in Ohio to attract businesses as opposed to driving them out of state Ö Make sound decisions that improve our personal lives and economic conditions in Dayton, Ohio Ö Enhance Economic Development in the I 70/75 corridor to stimulate growth in the region |

PERSONAL There are very few things that transcend politics and have a commonality between party lines. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat or Independent, you’ll agree that our family is the most important asset we have in our lives. Ultimately, we are defined by our family and the legacy we leave for the future. The Henne Family consists of 2 girls in college, one boy in high school and another boy in grade school. With 3 dogs and various family hobbies, it’s quite busy around the house sometimes. |

We believe that everyone in the family has a supporting role in creating a stable and loving foundation in which we thrive in – not unlike the real world outside of our doors. We believe that raising successful children begins at home and we take the responsibility with great pride – sure it takes a village to raise child but our base foundation must be solid or the wrong village will raise our children. We believe raising our children is our most important duty in life and this message has never been more important as our region looks to become prosperous again.

Outside of my personal family obligations, I work within the community in many different ways that have very little to do with my interest in politics. I am an avid sports fan, especially when my kids are involved, and have refereed soccer in the area for over 25 years.
